It’s an exciting week to be in the climate action space, and IMT is thrilled to take part in the international conversation.
Recognizing the critical need for climate action, the 2018 Global Climate Action Summit is uniting international leaders and community members on deeper commitments and accelerated action. As states and regions, cities, businesses, and investors come together to focus on new, ambitious collaborations and critical action, IMT is proud to contribute to the conversation. This week, we’re on the ground at the summit in San Francisco, looking out for new technologies, fresh partnerships, and ambitious commitments as we explore how energy efficiency can transform these initiatives into action.
IMT’s Executive Director Cliff Majersik and Managing Director of Programs Julie Hughes are honored to be speaking at and attending affiliate events throughout the week—check out some of the highlights below:
Carbon Smart Building Day
Cliff Majersik will speak on a panel exploring the growing business value of high-performance and net-zero buildings, part of an all-day conference focused on the business and environmental opportunities inherent in the built environment.

Truth Online: Providing an Evidence Base on Buildings Policies That Work to Decarbonize Cities
