Washington, DC (February 28, 2018) —The deadline for the 2018 Green Lease Leaders™ application period has been extended to Friday, March 9 at 11:59 PM EST. Green Lease Leaders is a national recognition program created by IMT and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Better Buildings Alliance. Now in its fifth year, the program celebrates and validates landlords and tenants who are breaking down long-standing barriers to high-performance buildings by addressing building energy and water use through smart lease clauses and corporate guidelines.

Commercial office, industrial, and retail landlords and tenants, as well as transaction teams (a combination of landlord, tenants or brokers for a single real estate deal) are eligible for recognition. Click on the links below to learn more about how to become a Green Lease Leader and join this growing community of leading-edge real estate professionals and organizations.
