City Energy Project City Advisor, Salt Lake City wendy.lee@imt.org  |  801-535-7710 Wendy Lee

Through the City Energy Project, a new, joint initiative with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) to improve buildings' efficiency in 20 U.S. cities, IMT has hired expert staff to assist cities with their energy efficiency initiatives. City Advisors work directly with city employees in local government offices. They provide essential support in developing and implementing each city's tailored efficiency plan. As part of the City Energy Project network, the advisors share best practices and learn from each other's experience.

Wendy Lee is the City Energy Project City Advisor in Salt Lake City. Wendy has years of experience working as a building energy efficiency engineer in the Salt Lake Valley and across Utah. During her time as an engineer, she also worked with the State of Utah to quantify energy code savings and drafted energy plans for large university campuses. Additionally, she is passionate about sustainable development and has implemented projects in Peru, Ghana, and Belize through Engineers Without Borders and other NGOs.
