Lenny leads IMT’s work with the District Department of the Environment (DDOE), which includes managing grants that promote the proper valuation of high-performance buildings and greater transparency during residential real estate transactions in the District. As a senior program associate on IMT’s Finance team, Lenny is also developing a commercial lender initiative to better understand the barriers and opportunities for commercial energy efficiency finance.
Prior to joining IMT, Lenny interned at the Energy Efficient Buildings Hub in Philadelphia, where his main task was to design an academic survey to better understand the barriers and solutions to developing the market for advanced energy retrofits.
Lenny received a Master of Environmental Studies, concentrating in sustainability, from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013. He graduated from Yale University in 2009 with a B.S. in mechanical engineering.
