Emily McLaughlin is a senior associate on IMT’s Market Engagement team. In this role, she focuses on energy efficiency financing and market-based programs such as the Landlord-Tenant Energy Partnership. Her work helps to incentivize energy efficiency and green leasing across commercial real estate, government agencies, property owners, and tenants in leased spaces.
Prior to joining IMT in March 2017, Emily worked at Resources for the Future (RFF) managing a fundraising portfolio including energy efficiency, transportation, biodiversity, and species conservation. Before her time at RFF, Emily worked on energy efficiency education at the Alliance to Save Energy. Emily holds an MPA in environmental science and public policy from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in international studies and Spanish from Elon University.
