Chris joined IMT in February 2012 as Communications Associate. He works across all of IMT’s core programs and leads strategic communications efforts for the commercial real estate engagement and energy code teams. Chris works on a range of communications duties, including media relations, editing IMT publications, co-editing and writing for IMT's blog (The Current), and producing IMT's monthly newsletter (TRANSFORM). He also leads social media and video production efforts for the organization.
Chris came to IMT from Fenton Communications, the nation’s leading public-interest communications firm. Prior to Fenton, Chris worked as a freelance editorial assistant, writer, and videographer. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Climate Progress, on National Public Radio, and on the websites GreenBiz and RenewableEnergyWorld.com. Chris is a graduate of Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire.
